2. What data we collect
Data you give us yourself
We run landing pages for our content services, aimed at consumers. On those pages we collect two details:
- Email address
- Phone number
You provide these so that we can contact you about the content service you signed up for.
Data collected automatically
When you visit our website, some data is collected through cookies and similar technologies:
- IP address, shortened where the tool supports it
- Device type, browser and operating system
- Pages visited, time on page and referring source
- Interactions such as clicks and form submissions
3. Why we use your data and on what basis
Under the General Data Protection Regulation we need a legal basis for every purpose. Ours are set out below.
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Contacting you about a content service you signed up for | Email address, phone number | Consent, given when you submit the form on the landing page |
| Delivering the content service | Email address, phone number | Performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one |
| Website analytics | Usage and device data via Google Analytics 4 | Consent |
| Advertising and remarketing | Usage data and conversion events via Google Ads | Consent |
| Meeting legal and tax obligations | Invoicing and contract records | Legal obligation |
The email address and phone number you submit on a landing page are used to contact you about the service you signed up for. They stay within our own systems and serve that purpose alone.
4. Landing pages for our content services
We operate landing pages for content services aimed at consumers. These pages carry this same privacy policy. What you should know about them:
- What we collect. Your email address and phone number.
- Why we collect it. To contact you about the specific content service you signed up for, by email, phone or text message.
- Consent stands on its own. Submitting the form is a positive act of consent for that contact, given for that purpose alone.
- You can stop it at any time. Every message includes an unsubscribe option, and you can ask us to stop calling or texting by replying or by emailing contact@regiosus.com. We act on that request without delay.
- Your details stay with us. We keep them for our own contact with you about the service, and they are not sold or passed to third parties for their own marketing.
5. Cookies and tracking
Our site uses two categories of cookies.
- Functional cookies keep the website working and remember your cookie preferences. These are placed without consent because the site cannot function properly without them.
- Analytics and advertising cookies are placed by Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. They are only set after you give consent through our cookie banner.
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Ads allows us to measure which campaigns lead to enquiries and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. Both tools are provided by Google Ireland Limited, which may transfer data to servers outside the European Economic Area.
You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time through the cookie settings on our site, and you can delete existing cookies through your browser settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it.
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data only where it is necessary, and only with parties that process it on our instructions or have their own legal obligation to receive it:
- Google Ireland Limited for analytics and advertising
- Our hosting and email providers for storing the site and our correspondence
- Accountants and advisers where required for administration or legal compliance
- Authorities where we are legally obliged to disclose information
Where a provider processes data on our behalf, we have a data processing agreement in place. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. How long we keep your data
- Email addresses and phone numbers from our landing pages: up to 24 months after our last contact, or immediately after you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
- Client records: for the duration of the agreement and afterwards for as long as tax and commercial law requires.
- Analytics data: according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics, which is a maximum of 14 months.
- Cookies: for the lifetime set per cookie, which you can review in our cookie settings.
8. How we protect your data
Our website runs over an encrypted connection, access to our systems is limited to the people who need it, and accounts are protected with strong authentication. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to reduce the risk of loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Request deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to processing, including profiling for advertising
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on
Send your request to contact@regiosus.com and we will respond within one month. Because we identify you by the email address or phone number you provided, we may ask you to confirm that detail before we act on a request.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, or with the supervisory authority in your own country of residence.
10. Children
Our content services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has submitted their details to us, contact us and we will delete the data without delay.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, tools or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be announced on our website.
